The Canon and Shoot Better joined in pursuit of one goal: to reveal new talents in photography Brazilian. So they created the first major competition, nationwide, which focuses on college students.

The photo is among the disciplines that form the curriculum of various courses like Journalism, Advertising, Architecture, Design , Arts, Industrial Design, among others - not to mention specific colleges in the teaching of photography. But you can participate even as a student of law, medicine or any other course. Simply enjoy photography.

The application deadline on 15 June 2012 and participation is open to any university student in Brazil. The participant must prove enrollment at any university, undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

On Sunday, February 5th, we were in an abandoned house in Confins. We were there all the morning and only went away because we were starving. It was enough to make photos pretty interesting, exploring different angles of light, I hope you enjoy!

ABSTRACT

The objective of this study was to demonstrate that control of the resources of the camera allows you to create different visual narratives for the same subject, representations that lead to different meanings. We tried to show the possibilities of constructing meaning from the notions of aesthetic and technical teams from each photographer. To this was considered part of the work of documentary photographer Walker Evans, who during the years 1938 and 1945 recorded images of the New York subway. The selected photographs from Evans images were produced by users of the subway in Belo Horizonte, a proposal that focused on moving scenes seeking to express the rush of daily life of these people.

The Araguaia River (River Red Macaws in Tupi) is a river which rises in the Brazilian state of Goiás, in the Serra do Caiapó near the Emas National Park. This river is a natural border between the states of Goias, Mato Grosso, Tocantins and Pará has a length of 2114 km and is considered one of the best fishing grounds in the world.
